Posting of Vacancy

World Language Department Head, K-12

Falmouth Public Schools

2024-2025 School Year

I am my language1.

This statement is invaluable as language is at the heart of who we are; it’s a part of our individual and collective identities. The successful candidate for World Language Department Head will cultivate passion for the learning of world languages as part of our District’s commitment to excellence and equity. Essential to this work is the design and launch of a new elementary program to introduce language learning at the start of students’ Clipper Experience and to provide a complete, vertical opportunity for language learning. As global communities converge to enrich our community, translanguaging is a life skill, and the candidate who takes on this role will be the ambassador to this work.
