This position will fill in for absences of regular part-time or full-time employees as needed. As much advance notice will be given as possible. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma preferred.

Certificate of good health signed by a licensed physician, upon hire.

Ability to read basic operating instructions and reports.

Demonstrated aptitude for successful fulfillment of tasks assigned.

Such other alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This substitute position will support the regular custodial staff as follows:

 

Provide a clean, comfortable and safe environment within the assigned building as well as perform outside grounds maintenance as needed.

 

Perform daily tasks in cleaning and maintaining a school building and surrounding area.

 

Such other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal or Head Custodian.
