37.5 hours/week, 10 months/year (194 days)
(includes 5 days before school begins and 5 days after school ends)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma with postgraduate secretarial study preferred
- High level of technical skills including typing of 60 words per minute and familiarity with a variety of office machines
- Proficiency with computer applications and technology
- Ability to serve the public, faculty, and students in professional, efficient, and pleasing
- manner
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Well-organized and adept at organizational procedures
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may deem
- appropriate and acceptable
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clerical support to the Principal and Principal’s secretary
- Manage office routines pertaining to mail, telephone, attendance, homework requests,
correspondence, and filing systems
- Handle reports and materials concerning the operation of the office
- Assist with correspondence, reports, and notices when requested
- Perform a variety of secretarial duties
- Perform such other tasks as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal
REPORTS TO: Principal, Assistant Principal, Special Education Building Administrator
SALARY: In accordance with the Secretarial contract.
