Speech / Language Pathologist

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Massachusetts licensure in Speech
  • SEI endorsement, preferred 
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology preferred
  • An in-depth knowledge of speech disorders as they relate to the learning abilities/disabilities of children
  • Such other alternatives as the Superintendent of Schools may deem acceptable and appropriate

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct services for eligible students as articulated by the Individualized Education Program
  • Administer evaluations for children with a wide variety of communicative disorders
  • Develop goals and objectives for eligible children with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with the IEP Team in developing educational plans for children with individual communication needs
  • Work with special education personnel to provide an integrated program for children with multiple special needs
  • Participate in Speech Language quarterly meetings and professional development
  • Such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal and/or Director of Student Services

 

SALARY:  In accordance with FEA Unit A Contract
